Description
Cam Followers are designed to run on all types of tracks and to be used in cam drives, conveyor systems, etc. They are based on a needle roller bearing with a threaded solid stud instead of an inner ring. They have a thick-walled outer ring with a crowned running surface and are supplied ready-to-mount. These bearings can be relubricated via the lubrication holes provided at the ribbed face of the stud as well as at the threaded end.
NRB manufactures Track Rollers of Stud-Type (Cam Followers) as well as Yoke-Type (Support Rollers) and comes with a Crowned or Cylindrical Outer Ring.
.
Features
- The thick-walled outer ring enables high radial loads while reducing distortion and bending stresses
- The integral flange (stud head) and the pressed-on flange ring enable cam followers to accommodate axial loads that can occur because of skew or tilting
- The crowned outer ring is beneficial for applications where outer ring tilting relative to the track may occur or where edge stresses need to be minimized
