Description
Cam Followers are designed to run on all types of tracks and to be used in cam drives, conveyor systems, etc. They are based on a needle roller bearing with a threaded solid stud instead of an inner ring. They have a thick-walled outer ring with a crowned running surface and are supplied ready-to-mount. These bearings can be relubricated via the lubrication holes provided at the ribbed face of the stud as well as at the threaded end. CF12 IKO, CF 12B IKO, KR30 IKO, KRV30 IKO
NRB manufactures Track Rollers of Stud-Type (Cam Followers) as well as Yoke-Type (Support Rollers) and comes with a Crowned or Cylindrical Outer Ring.
.
Features
- The thick-walled outer ring enables high radial loads while reducing distortion and bending stresses
- The integral flange (stud head) and the pressed-on flange ring enable cam followers to accommodate axial loads that can occur because of skew or tilting
- The crowned outer ring is beneficial for applications where outer ring tilting relative to the track may occur or where edge stresses need to be minimized
