    Description

Felt strips provide a simple and effective seal where the shaft passes through a plummer block housing, keeping dirt out and lubricant in. They suit relatively high shaft speeds, as the felt beds in to leave a small running gap around the shaft. Cut the strip to the required length and soak it in hot oil before fitting.
